Easy Ways To Lose Weight

I’m always looking for easy ways to lose weight.
Are you like me? I love food! I enjoy the many flavors and textures of food. I like to eat. If you’re like me, then you struggle with enjoying one of life’s simple pleasures because of the risk of adding unwanted extra pounds to your body.
I also hate the idea of dieting and starving myself. I know that the wafer-thin anorexic models in magazines and on TV have to starve themselves to stay that thin – and its just not right! What really ticks me off is seeing those few lucky people who have really high metabolisms and can eat all the junk they want – and they don’t gain any weight!
I don’t want to name drop, but I know people who are really close to a very famous actor (with awesome six pack abs, and twice named the sexiest man of the year) and they once told me a typical diet for him. Pasta! I couldn’t believe it! If I ate a mostly pasta diet I would look more like Marlon Brando when he was in The Godfather, than this famous star of the movie “Troy” with awesome six pack abs.
That’s not me! Sometimes I think I gain weight just by looking at a picture of chocolate cake! I am genetically a polynesian (Hawaiian), and there aren’t that many skinny Hawaiians! But I was determined to find easy ways for me to lose fat and I finally succeeded. (It had to be easy or else I wouldn’t stick with it).

Using the tips in this article I was able to begin my weight loss journey of losing 30 pounds – and I’ve kept it off! I never felt like I was starving and I didn’t have to eat only celery and rice cakes. In fact, I was able to eat Snickers bars and even cheeseburgers! (not for every meal though!)
Here is one of my power weight loss tips that will accelerate your TTWL (time to weight loss)! These tips don’t involve counting calories or eating a diet of grass and twigs.
Power Weight Loss Tip: Eat More Often!
What? Did you read that right? Did I say “eat more often!”? Yes I did!
Instead of the traditional 3 meals per day, I eat 6 smaller meals evenly spaced throughout the day! I eat breakfast within the first hour of waking up, then I eat a small meal every 2 to 2.5 hours. I make sure my meals are smaller than a normal meal, but larger than a snack. I eat my biggest meals for breakfast and lunch.
Why do this? Its a trick! I am using my body’s natural built-in mechanisms to my advantage by using this trick. I am basically telling my brain that it does not need to store extra fat on my body for those times when I am between meals because I am hardly ever between meals!
It takes about 2 hours for the stomach to digest food, and that’s just about when I eat my next small meal! Bingo! My body has food once again and my brain thinks “Hey! We’re not starving ourselves, so I don’t need to store extra fat just in case we go without a meal for a long period of time.” I am basically showing my body that it can trust me to eat and not go into starvation mode.
You see, excess fat on your body is a result of your brain not trusting you. It doesn’t think you will stay out of starvation mode, so it stores extra fat just in case you go into starvation mode. Its a self-preservation thing that your brain does. To lose that fat, I had to tell my brain to stop storing all that extra fat! And the key to success was eating more often.
